Because of the continuing cold weather the school will be closed on Friday 2 March except for students in years 10-11, who should come in at the usual time. However, school will end at 2pm to give the boys in years 10-11 more time to get home safely. Thank you.

Due to bad weather the school will be closed today, Thursday 1 March. Because of technical issues we're having some problems updating our website with this information just now but to confirm the school is closed today. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Basketball - UAE 15 HBAED 40

basketballThe Year 9 boys started their basketball fixtures with a flying win at UAE. As the boys walked out in our brand new pitch they looked the part after a brilliant warm up led by our own students.

Opting to run a man-to-man defence, our boys worked hard at the back, winning most of the rebounds allowing us to set up fast breaks and capitalise on our opponents. Many of our points in the first half coming through Antonio, Crispin, David and Afolabi.

We were fairly close at the break with the score at 14-7 to us, but from there we went on to be the far superior team. Abiel starting in his first fixture for the team showed that he has a cool head putting in a few good dribbles and passes to set up chances. Rio was solid in defence and notched a few baskets, whilst Janiah and Joel showed good handling skills throughout.

Overall an excellent first win and looking forward to the next fixture.

Mr May

Man of the Match: Antonio scored a lot of points and communicated well with the team all game.

Stepping up: Afolabi played a year group up and looked to be one of the best players on the court.
