Rennaisance Day is coming up on 23rd November. Our termly Renaissance Days are a chance for boys to go off timetable and delve into subjects and experiences they would not normally have an opportunity to engage in fully.
The day looks like this:
Year 7 – Metropolitan Police and the Community – a variety of sessions delivered by the Met Police and community partners
Year 8 – PE day – events at Kings College Sports Ground
Year 9 – Building Cultural Capital day – an Art History trip to the Imperial War Museum, as well as on-site activities about British History, Democracy, the Rule of Law, Ethics, and personal care.
Year 10 – Careers and Enterprise – a careers trip to Sky Studios, trip to Kingston University, as well as an on-site inter-departmental enterprise project between Design and Technology and Maths, careers sessions and an assembly from a nutrition specialist from Everton FC.
Year 11 – a day focusing on vocational subjects, while some students complete a STEM project with the Directors of Maths and Science.
