On Tuesday 6th July, eleven boys from HBAED took part in the Federation Sports Day at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. All competitors did the school proud, with special mention to Clayton Johnson who broke the National Record for the 100m in his age category, and Ore Aluko who broke the regional record for the discus. Well done to those two and all who took part.

On Tuesday 25th May we will be hosting an Academy Information Evening for parents of boys joining us from September 2010. The event will run from 7.00pm until 9.00pm at our sister Academy, Harris Girls' Academy East Dulwich, located at Homestall Road, London SE22 0NR. If travelling by car please park carefully. Pupils are also welcome to accompany their parents.

I would be very grateful if you would not park your cars in the cul de sac at Harris Girls' Academy, East Dulwich at the bottom of Homestall Road while waiting to collect your sons. This area needs to be kept free to enable our coaches to drop pupils off at the end of the day and to turn around.

There is a vast amount of unclaimed lost property in the Academy's Administration offices, including jackets and coats. Please could parents ensure that their son's belongings are labelled clearly with their son's name and, if possible, form. If you are aware that your son has lost any belongings, please encourage him to come to the main office to claim it as soon as possible.
