Term 1 Celebration Assembly
On Monday January 11th the Academy welcomed Governors to the termly Celebration Assembly. Prizes and certificates were awarded to boys for outstanding achievement for Effort, Attainment and Progress in each subject.
Students from the Academy also performed a short dramatic piece entitled ‘X-Pod’ and a musical composition for the whole Academy community to enjoy.
The ‘Golden Ticket’ draw took place, where students who had earned at least 25 positive points were entered into a draw to win fantastic prizes.
Certificates were also given out to the three winners of the Library Graphic Novel Competition, with the winning entry by Matheus Da Silva on display in the Library for all to see.
The Chair of Governors, Dr Paul Clifford, presented the Harris Cup to the best all round student for Term 1. It was awarded to Daniel Andrew for his untiring efforts, his support of all Academy events and his dedication to his studies. Well done Daniel
