HBAED in Top 4% Nationally for Student Progress
We're really proud of our provisional Progress 8 score for 2017, which is +0.78.
This puts us in the top 4% of all schools nationally for Progress 8 - the third year in a row that we have been top 5%.
The national average for Progress 8 is always set at 0. This means Harris Boys’ students achieved, on average, over three quarters of a grade higher per entry than students with the same ability nationally. The average Progress 8 score of boys nationally this year was -0.24.
Our score of +0.78 is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to all our students, teachers and parents who made it possible.
Last year, the government introduced the performance measure called Progress 8 to measure the progress made by students since primary school across eight key subjects.
