Our co-curricular clubs can include hockey, table tennis, basketball, maths, football, science, manga, designers and engineers, book club and many more.
Please note, we are not currently running our usual wide range of clubs due to Covid-19 but will update you on our new arrangements for clubs shortly.
Read news stories about our clubs, trips and visit. We want every student to have the chance to shine. Whenever there is demand for a new club or activity, we will always try to find a way to make it happen.
As we welcome our new Year 7s to Harris Boys' we want to support them in their transition to becoming successful young men. We believe that engaging in activities outside of the classroom allows our young men to build the character and resilience they need to succeed in the wider world.
We are therefore asking all the boys in Year 7 to sign-up to at least one extra-curricular club during their first year at Harris Boys'. We are also encouraging all our Year 7s to complete our Activity Passport which can be downloaded below. Boys that complete the passport at any point in Year 7 should show it to Mr Azer so that their achievements can be recognised by the wider community through our assemblies and website. Download your Activity Passport.
At Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich we make sure students enjoy regular opportunities to expand their learning outside of the classroom. Read news reports on some recent trips.
Our curriculum is also enriched by the many organisations and professionals who visit our academy, including the Royal Ballet and local artists as part of Artists Open House.
“School trips are an important part of learning,” says Principal Peter Groves. “They boost students’ confidence and deepen their understanding of the wider world. That’s why we make sure opportunities like this are available to every student.”
National Citizenship Award. Find out why we are a 'Champion School' for active citizens, and have won a gold award for the number of students completing the National Citizenship Award.
