Harris Academies
All Academies in our Federation aim to transform the lives of the students they serve by bringing about rapid improvement in examination results, personal development and aspiration.

Extra Curricular Clubs

We run a wide range of extra curricular clubs including art, photography, dance, film, music technology and science, to name just a few.

Sailing, indoor rowing, rugby and trampolining are just some of the sporting activities boys are able to try their hand at.

We want every student to have the chance to shine. Whenever there is demand for a new club or activity, we will always try to find a way to make it happen. Downland a list of our sports clubs (pdf). Download a list of our non-sport clubs (pdf).

Boys also have the chance to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and Outward Bound.

School trips

At Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich we make sure students enjoy regular opportunities to expand their learning outside of the classroom. Read news reports on some recent trips.

Our curriculum is also enriched by the many organisations and professionals who visit our academy, including the Royal Ballet and local artists as part of Artists Open House.

“School trips are an important part of learning,” says Principal Chris Everitt.  “They boost students’ confidence and deepen their understanding of the wider world. That’s why we make sure opportunities like this are available to every student.”
