Ms Chloe Dixon

SENCO & Associate Assistant Principal

Ms Dixon grew up in The Black Country, in the West Midlands, before studying English and Film at The University of Exeter. After gaining QTS and a PGCE at Birmingham City University in 2017, Ms Dixon has worked in a variety of schools around the country, each with their own unique challenges and circumstances. Her interest in special education and supporting disadvantaged pupils started when she was given the opportunity to support young carers in 2018. This experience ignited her passion for advocating and supporting young people who grow up within the most challenging circumstances, outside of their control. Since then, Ms Dixon first joined us as an Innovation Leader of Literacy for in 2022, before becoming SENCO and Associate Assistant Principal.

Proudest moment in education. Being able to support young people who find education a tremendous challenge, and watching them grow and develop into successful young adults.

The thing I love most about HBAED. The caring and inclusive attitude to all and constant drive to make sure all young people that attend this school are able to reach their full potential. We celebrate what makes each child individual and consider humanity in everything we do.
