Mr David Stow
Vice Principal (Behaviour & Safeguarding)
Mr Stow studied Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Surrey before embarking on a career as a PE teacher. This led to him being a member of the founding staff at Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich when we opened our doors for the first time in 2009. After six years of service Mr Stow spent time away working in another south London trust including the opening of another new Southwark secondary school, before returning to HBAED as an Assistant Principal in 2022.
Proudest moment in education. Being a founding member of staff at HBAED and seeing the rise of the school from temporary accommodation at Langbourne Primary School through to two Outstanding Ofsted inspections.
The thing I love most about HBAED. The school is relentless in its drive to ensure all students are successful. No barrier is too big and every child matters to us.
