Library Lights Up with Festive Fun for Student Librarians
Celebrating our amazing Student Librarians with music, games, and festive cheer.
The library was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated our amazing volunteer Student Librarians for their incredible contribution this term. To say thank you, we hosted a lively party filled with food, fun, music, and festive cheer!
The celebration featured pizza, cookies, and drinks, kindly organised by Ms Forero, and the atmosphere was electric with board games, music, and Christmas karaoke – thanks to Ms Bee for providing the sound equipment.

We were delighted to welcome our Principal Mr Brett, who showed off his strategic skills at the chessboard but politely declined the invitation to join the karaoke fun.

Meanwhile, our librarian Mrs Edwards was thrilled to take the mic, enthusiastically singing and dancing to Christmas classics – though the boys weren’t entirely convinced about her vocal prowess. The most requested tune ofthe day? Last Christmas by Wham, of course!
Special mention goes to Joseph, who was full of festive energy and happily grabbed the mic to keep the karaoke going, and Sam for playing guitar for us.

And of course, a massive thank you to our Student Librarians – your hard work and dedication make the library a welcoming and vibrant space for everyone. Three students were recognised with special rewards for their outstanding effort this term – Uzair, Reuben and Sashwannth.
"Our Student Librarians are the heartbeat of the library," said Mrs Edwards. "Today was all about celebrating their enthusiasm and commitment. Seeing everyone tucking into pizza and enjoying themselves reminds us that the library isn’t just about books – it’s about creativity, community and friendship too!"
