Jadon Wins Men's 60m Hurdles (U17) at the England National Championships

We are incredibly proud of Jadon, who won the Men's 60m Hurdles (U17) at the England National Championships at the weekend, becoming the national champion in his age group. 

Jadon's coach said:

"So far this year, Jadon has been nothing less than remarkable. The effort and dedication that he continues to put in during training and competitions is excellent. He opened his indoor competition season setting a new personal best time of 8.14s. This was swiftly bettered, on the same day, with a time of 8.04s.

"Two weeks later, Jadon was crowned the South Of England U17 Men 60m Champion. He set a new championship record of 7.95s, pushing him straight to the top of the UK U17 Men ranking.

Today, 8th of February 2026, Jadon competed in the England Athletics Age Group National Championships in Sheffield. In this very same championships last year, Jadon did not progress from his heats to go into the finals. However, today, Jadon overcame all the obstacles and disappointment from last year.

Jadon won his heats with ease (8.07s). In the finals, Jadon beat all his competitors out of the blocks, leaving them all to chase him. He was magnificent over the five hurdles and won the race in a new personal best time of 7.82s and solidified his position as the best U17 Men athlete in the UK.

As his coach, I am extremely proud of what Jadon has achieved. I believe that there is still a lot more to come from him."
