New Reusable Bottles For Students

Thanks to funding from our canteen provider, Innovate, we have been able to provide reusable water bottles for our students, which will benefit our school community in several ways.

The introduction of reusable water bottles has delivered several key benefits:

• Cost‑effective: rather than purchasing single‑use bottles on a regular basis, reusable bottles represent a one‑time investment that supports our students throughout the entire year. This approach allows us to use funding more efficiently while still meeting everyday student needs.
• Environmentally friendly: the bottles have significantly reduced the amount of plastic waste generated within the academy. This initiative supports our sustainability priorities and reinforces our commitment to environmentally responsible practices, helping students develop positive habits that benefit the wider community.
• Health and convenience: made from safe, durable materials, the bottles can be easily refilled throughout the school day. This ensures students stay well hydrated at no additional cost, supporting both their health and concentration in lessons.
• Inclusive: We are proud to have provided reusable water bottles to our students, ensuring that every young person in our academy benefits equally from this initiative. Although small in scale, this project has already made a noticeable difference, both financially and environmentally.
