Year 10 Win The Harris Football Cup Again!

A dominant display at Crystal Palace FC academy meant the Year 10 football team retained the Harris cup football trophy!

Last year they managed two wins and a draw on the finals day to secure the silverware. This year they went one better by winning all three matches and they didn't concede a single goal all day!

Led well by captain Archie, the team were all class on and off the pitch and this was commented on by multiple other schools.

The first game HBAED won 1-0 thanks to Jahmai finishing off a smooth passing move to defeat Harris Garrard Academy.

In game two the boys continued to show their class by keeping possession for the majority of the match and, thanks to a superb solo Abdul S goal, they climbed to top of the table.

In the third game the first goal come from Jahmai yet again...but the crowning moment was when captain Archie gave the ball to Year 9 Amari to step up to seal the trophy with a well taken penalty to make it 2-0.

Mr Edwards would like to say what a privilege it has been to manage the Year 10 boys from Year 7 all the way through to Year 10 and what a way to finish off the season!
