HBAED Cricketers Watch Surrey At The Kia Oval

HBAED's annual trip to go and see Surrey CCC play at The Kia Oval took place once again this year.

With cricketers from both our cricket bursary and school teams in attendance it was a great day out for all.

Despite the gloomy conditions we got to see some amazing cricketing moments. This trip is always met with great excitement and Surrey CCC did not disappoint as the view from our seats were outstanding.

Surrey had eight current or previous England players in their team including Sam Curran and Ollie Pope. It was great for our young cricketers to see how England professionals warm-up and get themselves prepared ahead of a big match.

The match itself did not disappoint with our boys seeing plenty of boundaries and cartwheeling stumps, courtesy of some seriously quick fast bowling.

Next years trip is already in the diary!
