HBAED Students Shine at Harris Federation Spelling Bee Final

On 2nd July, five of our students proudly represented HBAED at the Harris Federation Spelling Bee competition, held at Harris Academy Bermondsey.

Congratulations to David in Year 9, Joseph and Isaiah in Year 8 and Al-Abtahi and Owen in Year 7,  who took part in this exciting event after months of dedication and preparation.

Throughout the year, these students have worked incredibly hard in the Spanish Spelling Bee Club, developing their confidence and spelling skills while learning Spanish in a fun and engaging way.

We are especially proud to celebrate Joseph,  Al-Abtahi and Owen who made it all the way to the final round of the competition, which is an excellent achievement against strong competition from across the Harris Academies.

Ms Pérez and the Modern Foreign Languages team are extremely proud of all the students who participated and of the ambition, resilience and enthusiasm they have shown throughout the year. Taking part in events like this not only strengthens Spanish skills, but also builds confidence, commitment and a love of learning languages.
