GCSE Success Continues, With Students Joined by MP, Ellie Reeves
Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich Success Continues, as Ellie Reeves MP joins GCSE students collecting their results
There were lots of smiling faces as students collected GCSE results today at Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich. Overall, 79% of students have achieved a Grade 4 in both English and Maths, and 57% achieved a Grade 5 in both.
Students and staff were excited to be joined in their celebration by Local MP, Ellie Reeves. Ms Reeves had visited the school previously and was impressed by the students and wanted to come back and see the results of their hard work.
Top performing students were:
- William, with 5 x Grade 9s, 3 x Grade 8s, 1 x Grade 6 and a Distinction
- Victor, with 4 x Grade 9s, 4 x Grade 8s, 1 x Grade 7, 1 x Grade 6 and a Distinction*
- Luca, with 3 x Grade 9s, 5 x Grade 8s, a Distinction*, a Distinction and a Grade 7
- Ammar, with 4 x Grade 9s, 4 x Grade 8, 2 x Grade 7s and a Distinction*
Luca, Ammar and William celebrate their success.

Mr Brett, Principal, said: “This group of students have been fantastic. They worked really hard and always represented the academy positively. It is so pleasing to see so many of them achieve amazing results. We are delighted to welcome many of them into our Sixth Form as they continue their educational journey with us.
“The highlight for me is the achievement of out disadvantaged students who performed excellently and not only did fantastically as individuals but actually outperformed all students nationally.”
Mr Ingham, Vice Principal, added: “We are thrilled that the hard work of our fantastic young men has been rewarded with some impressive grades. We are pleased to have incredible academic outcomes once again.”
