Student Summer Photography Competition 2026
Capture the Beauty of Summer!
This summer, we are inviting all students to get creative and capture the world through their lens. Whether you’re travelling abroad, exploring your local area or simply enjoying time with family and friends, take photographs of anything you find beautiful, inspiring or appealing to the eye. Choose from our three exciting categories and show us your best work. There are fantastic prizes to be won.
Competition categories
- Nature’s Beauty - Capture stunning landscapes, flowers, wildlife, sunsets or anything found in nature
- Hidden Gems - Photograph a unique place, interesting building, local landmark or somewhere special you’ve discovered.
- Colour & Creativity - Show your artistic eye by capturing bold colours, reflections, patterns, textures or creative perspectives.
Competition rules
You may enter ONE photograph.
You may submit only one photograph in one category of your choice (maximum of one entry per person).
Photographs may be taken using a camera or mobile phone.
All photographs must be your own original work and taken during the Summer Holidays.
How to enter
To enter, simply complete the entry FORM from your school account for the photograph you wish to submit. Closing date: Wednesday 9th September.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Winning photographs may be displayed around the academy and featured in school publications and on social media.
