Super Readers Reach Half-Way In Their Lifelong Readers Journey

Super Readers Reach Half-Way In Their Lifelong Readers Journey

We are delighted to celebrate an inspiring group of students who have achieved Super Reader status as part of this year’s Lifelong Readers Challenge.

Librarian Mrs Edwards said: “Our Super Readers are showing their peers that reading for pleasure reaps rewards in all kinds of ways. Finding time to read is not always easy and I’m proud of them for adding books to their relaxation time.”

To reach Super Reader status, students read one handpicked book from six of the 12 genres in the library. To recognise their achievement, they joined our new Elite readers for a special rewards event at which Principal Mr Brett gave each of them a silver Super Reader lapel badge, a certificate, a National Book Token and a sweet treat

“I have every confidence that these boys, and many more, will complete this year’s Lifelong Readers challenge and become Elite Readers. Well done boys!” said Principal Mr Brett.

"Our Super Readers are showing their peers that reading for pleasure reaps rewards in all kinds of ways."
