Big Welcome For Our New Year 7 Students

Our new Year 7 students arrived last week and are settling in fantastically. Well done to everyone!

We asked (from left) Abdul, Abdoul, Muhammed, Jesse and Sabiq for their initial impressions. Here's what they told us.

"I have met new friends and the teachers are kind. I was worried about meeting friends, but I have met lots of people here and already made friends." Jesse (picture below right)

"I have enjoyed that the school is good and the people are kind." Muhammad (pictured above left)

"I have enjoyed the friends that I made here, and the food is better than primary. I was worried about interacting with the older children such as Year 9, 10 and 11, but they have been friendly. Also I was worried about getting a detention, but I have not had one! I am looking forward to joining some sports teams and going on trips." Abdoul B

"I am happy that I met new people and teachers." Abdul T

"I have enjoyed making new friends and meeting new standards. I am exhilarated for further sociality and education. I was not worried [about coming to HBAED] because I knew for certain that the HBAED safeguarding team would make me feel right at home. I am excited to learn more in my lessons but mostly looking forward to see what kind of journey this school will take me on." Sabiq
