Autism Acceptance Event for Pupils and Families

Twenty two pupils and family members attended an event in May at which a young man with Autism, Brandon, spoke about his experiences in school and in the working world.

Brandon currently works for a charity named Resources for Autism and he and his colleague also spoke a lot about the different opportunities and support that the charity offers including parent support, groups for young people and training.

Our young pupils and their parents asked Brandon many questions, and he touched on many important and sensitive themes in his replies. We would like to thank Brandon for coming along and sharing his experiences in such a helpful way.

ADHD information event, July 1st, 4pm

All families of SEND pupils have been invited to an ADHD awareness event on July 1st. We have a wonderful guest speaker, Nick, who will talk about his experiences of ADHD and how he has successfully built a career. Please do send in questions for our guest to answer.
