Book Sale Raises More than £250 for our Library

IMG 5989Our pre-loved book sale on Saturday was a fantastic success! Despite the exceptionally hot weather, we surpassed our target, raising £250 to spend on new books for the library.

The event featured a brilliant selection of books for children, young people and grown-ups. Visitors included current parents, new Year 6 families, and local residents.

A special highlight was a guest appearance by Mr Brett and daughters, who left with arms full of great reads for the summer.

Huge thanks to the amazing parents who volunteered on the day and those who donated books, and to the staff who helped me set up the day before.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Chris, from our Facilities Team, for moving lots of very heavy boxes in the heat! It was a true community effort—thank you to everyone who made it possible.
