Charlie Wilson from Fidelity meets Year 9

As part of our personal development and careers programme, we regularly invite external speakers to deliver assemblies and workshops.

We were delighted to welcome Charlie Wilson, Global Head of RFP at Fidelity International and co-Lead for the UK Social Mobility Network, to our school earlier this term.

Charlie provided an overview of what Fidelity International does, its global reach and main competitors. She also described her current role and previous experience, explained the different routes for getting jobs at Fidelity, and outlined some of the key skills they look for, including: curiosity, logic, customer focus, integrity and adaptability.

Students also had an opportunity to complete an investment management job simulation activity after the assembly finished.
