Spain Watersports Trip 2016 - Day 7

Spain 2016 day 7 (8)Last night saw our final awards ceremony. After tidying the rooms and packing their suitcases, the group took over the main stage so we could reward some of the outstanding efforts and reflect on the personal achievements the students have made on the trip (see pictures at the bottom of the page).

Firstly, the following awards were given out for day 6:
  • Commitment to the cause: Joshua
  • Stepping up to the plate: Vinnith
  • Legend of the day: Jayden O
  • Best swimmer: Juynad
  • Moment of the day: Jayvon
These were followed by the overall awards for the week :
  • Swimmer of the week: Arthur
  • Footballer of the week: Ibrahim
  • Gentleman of the week: Harry B
  • Best Manners: Taylor
  • Positive Attitude: Emre
  • The Mr May Award: Anton
  • Most Improved Student: Tyler R
  • Loudest Laugh: Jamal S
Then it was time for the ultimate award which was for our legend of the week. This was given to Brandon who was absolutely amazing all week. It was the most difficult choice we had to make all week because nearly every student on the trip could have been awarded with this.

It was then on to the very exciting disco. As usual our boys were absolutely bossing the disco with some unreal dance moves!

Photos of the trip will be available to parents from September. If you would like them please send in your son with a memory stick for me to save them onto. I must stress that these are for personal memories and keepsakes. Please respect other students and families by not sharing these photos on social media.

We are now sadly sat on the coach on our way back to England! What a great trip, the boys are shattered watching a film on the coach.

Can you please reply to me via email or text (07940 444734) to confirm that you have arranged collection for 5am Saturday morning.

Much appreciated

Mr Connolly
