Rewards Assemblies Celebrate Success

Rewards assembly (2)We have ended this term with a series of rewards assemblies, celebrating the success of pupils at HBAED.

As part of our Positive Pathway rewards programme, pupils embodying HBAED values are given Harris Points. As these accumulate, recognition is received in the form of letters home, lapel badges and entries into prize draws.  We have had over 600 boys go through Boundary One of our pathway and 300 boys have also gone through Boundary Two. This is testament to the excellent manners and conduct our boys show every day, as well as the thirst for learning they exhibit in the classroom.

Special mention to these boys for being our top five Harris Points scorers in the Academy so far this year:

  • Axel – 2980
  • Markell – 2726
  • Dexter – 2576
  • Allan – 2546
  • Hassan - 2554

During the rewards assemblies, we carried out the Boundary One and Two prize draws. In total, 12 Amazon gift vouchers were given out to the lucky winners – the only pity was that we had so many boys doing well, they couldn’t all receive vouchers!

We also handed out over 60 subject certificates to boys based on their progress, effort or attainment in various different subject areas.  The full list of winners is below:
