Governance & Scheme of Delegation (Academies)

We have a joint Governing Body with Harris Girls’ Academy East Dulwich. The Governing Body is responsible, with the Principal, for setting and monitoring the educational direction of the Academy and the targets to be achieved over time.

The Academy is a member of the Harris Federation. Ultimate responsibility for the Academy rests with the Board of Trustees of the Federation (find out more about the Federation governance and scheme of delegation), but much of the work of the Board is delegated to the Local Governing Body (the Governors of the Academy). Some Governors are appointed by the Federation whilst others are elected by parents or guardians of students at the Academy or by staff. The details of the Governors at Harris Boy's Academy East Dulwich are shown below.

Katharine Wootton, Chair of Governors, can be contacted via the Academy address at Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich, Peckham Rye, London SE22 0AT.

All governors can be contacted via Jenny Kirby, HR Manager and Clerk to the Governors, on j.kirby@harrisdulwichboys.org.uk
