Learning About Asset Management at JP Morgan Chase
Forty of our Year 12 students had the incredible opportunity to visit JPMorgan Chase in June, at their prestigious London offices at 60 Victoria Embankment.
The day was designed to open students' eyes to the wide range of careers available in the financial sector, with a particular focus on asset management.
From the moment students stepped into the iconic building, they were immersed in a professional environment that gave them a taste of what working at a global financial institution is really like. The experience included:
- Interactive workshops exploring what asset management involves and why it plays such a key role in the global economy
- Q&A panels with JPMorgan professionals from diverse backgrounds, including recent graduates and senior executives, who shared their career journeys, challenges, and advice.
- Cases study simulations where students worked in teams to analyse investment strategies, gaining insight into real-world decision-making in finance
- Networking opportunities, giving our students the chance to build connections, ask questions, and see the variety of roles available – from investment analysts to client advisors.
Students left feeling inspired and more informed about career pathways in finance, especially within firms like JPMorgan Chase. This visit is part of our ongoing mission to raise aspirations, provide meaningful employer encounters, and prepare students for the world of work beyond sixth form.
We’d like to thank the team at JPMorgan Chase for hosting such a professional, welcoming, and insightful event.
